Philosophy

In my practice, there is nothing to transcend, only everything to include. To be awakened, enlightened, and evolved, it is not necessary to bypass our humanness; sometimes we only need a little confidence, a shift in perspective, and a gentle push to take flight. With FLY (Farm Love Yoga) we farm more love by growing self-awareness using the tools of yoga (uniting body, mind, and spirit) and connecting with the natural world.

My mission at Farm Love Yoga is to support the transformation and healing found in self excavation. Our very humanness offers wisdom towards our evolution. Something potent happens in our healing process when we take the time to consciously connect with the wisdom within our animal body, our intuition. In uniting mind with body, honoring instinct and intuition, our psychological challenges are not separate from our spiritual unfolding; instead, they are signs pointing the way. With FLY’s hawk-eyed approach, we can see our legacy and use the opportunity that a lifetime offers to unearth, rediscover and remember ourselves by sharpening our tools and digging down together.

Method

Have you forgotten the song in your heart?

I help my clients first transmute the world within making the ripples that ultimately impact the world outside. When we heal ourselves, we heal the past and future generations. Using my degree in Western psychology and the embodied tools of yoga, my method focuses on helping the client bring awareness to their internal workings and alchemize eternal and ancestral circumstances, thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors we unconsciously carry forward that keep us stuck and limited. Although we won’t linger on the past, this gentle, trauma-informed approach offers a safe way to reshape our childhood wounding and heal from residual generational impacts.

In our healing sessions, we may use guided meditation and movement, yoga nidra, Reiki treatment, nature immersion, somatic techniques, breathwork, shadow work, and a whole lot of unconditional love and listening as we unearth the many compromises made while growing up, the false sense of self, and the shapes and structures we developed along the way.

Together we’ll take a deeper look at our lenses that filter information and make meaning. Although our old lenses originally provided the foundation and constructs that influenced our inner sense of self and our outward personality, it’s important to recognize when we’ve outgrown their usefulness. This work is a reclamation of our authenticity, a rightsizing of our ego, and recognition of the inherent pleasure when we align ourselves genuinely in our lives.
